Wilson Rapier 44

This Wilson Rapier 44 dates after 1968 when WEM became Wilson. Finished in classic late 1960s red it is totally original, apart from the tremolo arm, is in fairly good condition and plays well. A variation of the Circuit 4 without the push switches that never stood up to the tests of time, it has a rotary pickup selector, one tone control for the bridge pickup, a lead And rhythm toggle switch and separate volume controls for lead and rhythm. I doubt if having four pickups was any real benefit to the Rapier's range of tones but it certainly gave the guitar a dramatic appearance.
