In 1968, WEM (formerly Watkins) changed their name, for the third time, to Wilson (which stood until they closed the factory in 1982) introducing a wider range of guitars and diversifying away from the world famous Rapier shape. This Mercury 6 is from the very early 1970’s and is in really good condition for its 35+ years with good sounds and action.
