This is a very rare 60’s guitar from Japan. I have searched various internet search engines for more about Starway but can find nothing. The nearest I can find is on another collector’s website (as a Tremo Twenty) which states that it is Teisco built and sold in the States as the Teisco MJ-2 (Starway MJ-2L), marketed by Rose Morris in the UK briefly in the mid-60s as part of their Twenty range. A rare guitar indeed, it is in fantastic condition for its age.
