I had a serious fall in my workshop, which totally destroyed the body of my purple ES131S and wrecked the neck of the Metallika, I had a neck and a body left so, having decided (after the fall) to stop building guitars and just stick to collecting and restoring them. The question was, what to do with the remaining body and neck? I fitted the neck from the 131S to the Metallika body, fitted some strings and hey presto!!! We have a unique guitar. It has the customary low ‘Ed Simons’ action, great sounds and is a pleasure to play.
