This is a real trip down memory lane as this is similar to the
very first guitar I bought costing 16 guineas in 1961. It is
almost completely original and has serial number: 2 33 6 3. It
is in remarkable condition for its age (42 years), keeps good
tune, all the electronics are in working order. It came with
an original leather strap and lead and still has the original
co-axial socket (like those found in television sets and
radios) to connect it to an amplifier instead of the usual
jack socket. These were sold through mail order as well as
music shops. There are probably only a few of these left now
and I was lucky to find this one.
