Futurama Coronado / Automatic

futuramacoronadoautomatic.jpg

Advertised as: 'The Guitar that virtually thinks for itself', with a body shaped like a Fender Jaguar and an ultra slim 'Kings neck' with a 'Speed-o-matic' moulded fretboard. The small buttons numbered 1 to 8 gave a variety of different pickup selections and tones from mellow to treble. The large buttons gave you 3 settings of volume 1,2,3 and the 0 button shut it off. Sadly, it never sold well and there were only about 250 made. The new price in 1964 was 69 guineas with a case available for 8 guineas extra. Considering this one is 42 years old it is in fabulous condition and all the electrics are working. VERY COLLECTABLE.
