When I was looking for a new guitar back in 1972, I turned down one of these in Sunburst for a Japanese Stratocaster because I could not afford it, so when I saw this brand new 2008 re-issue I had to buy it to add to my collection. Made in Mexico, this guitar is in a class of its own with a natural gloss finish ash body, one-piece maple neck and quality chrome hardware with a superb action and fabulous sounds. The only change I have made to it is to fit a chrome selector switch tip.
