According to the Blue Book of Electric Guitars, Barclay guitars were built in Japan only in the 1960s, considered to be a House Brand of Teisco or Harmony. A stunning looking guitar with an unusual shape sunburst body, working tremolo system, great action and sounds. Check out that beautiful headstock, I've never seen anything like it. The body is very slim, making it a nice, lightweight guitar.
