I built this one in June 2006. It was the first guitar to carry the 'Simons' logo. It featured a deep cherry sunburst basswood body and a Chinese maple neck with 'skunk stripe', squire pickups and chrome hardware. This was a prototype which carried the serial no: 0001 and is also listed on www.theguitarcollection.org.uk to whom it was sold. Being the first one made it was signed between the pickups.
